Inspiration & Dedication
Passion for owning beautiful show pets at early ages have brought some very remarkable individuals at House of Groomers to territories stretching from Europe to America, Canada to Australia, Japan to Philippines, Taiwan to Thailand, Singapore to Malaysia, all in the quest of perfecting the art of pet grooming and professional show dog handling. We would like to present to you, the most premier pet grooming gurus in Malaysia, Mr. Gan Wee Yet, Ms Annie Goh, Ms Goh Poh Yen, and Mr. Peter Chen, founder and teachers of House Of Groomers Pet Grooming Salons and Academy respectively.
After years of international involvement in the pet grooming profession and show dog handling, Champion Pedigree Sdn Bhd was formed in year 2000 as a one-stop pet services provider in Subang Jaya. In 2005, Champion Pedigree Sdn Bhd became an underlying company and House of Groomers Pet Grooming Salons and Academy was established to specialize in pet grooming services and training prospective pet groomers. With the many awards won by its instructors nationally and internationally coupled with the acceptance as the first Malaysian member of the world largest grooming association, National Dog Grooming Association Of America (NDGAA) and Malaysian Pet Groomers Association (MPGA), House Of Groomers received overwhelming responds in the registration of students seeking to learn pet grooming as a lifelong career. To stand above the rest, House Of Groomers provides affiliation to various international pets grooming schools and memberships to world largest pet grooming associations thus providing unlimited opportunities for students to further advancement in the pet grooming career nationally as well as internationally.
Our Achievements
Instructors at House Of Groomers owned a long list of winning records in championship events. Collectively, we have groomed and handled a wide array of pedigree dog breeds to their championship and won numerous pet grooming awards.

- Crowned Best Creative Groomer and Show Dog Groomer winner in conjunction with 2005 Malaysian Kennel Association (MKA) 1st FCI International All Breed Championship Show held in Kuala Lumpur.
- Presented Gold award for excellent contribution in the international advancement on dog grooming and styling from Thailand ministry approved pet grooming school, Starwood International Dog Grooming School.
- Recipient of American’s Groomer To Groomer Message Board.
- Conferred the title World Master Groomer and Pet Stylist Of The Year Award 2006 by Malaysian Pet Groomers Association (MPGA).
- Awarded Best Groomer In Show and Best Master Groomer by National Dog Groomers Association of America Master Groomer and Thailand Pet Grooming Ambassador on 16 September, 2006 at MPGA 1st International Dog Grooming Championship Kuala Lumpur.

The journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step. But more than often, the path to success is to take massive, determined action. Each time they succeed, they set the standards for their peers and are followed by the mass. The Founder and President of House Of Groomers Pet Salons & Academy, Mr. GAN WY. Mr. Gan's prowess in pet industry as a successful pet guru and a leading entrepreneur of high end pet salons as well as education has empowered him to achieve a multitude of milestones that many can only envy. He exemplifies that destiny is not a matter of chance; it is a matter of choice.
As a groomer, breeder and handler of many breed champions, ranging from Grand Champion, Multiple Champions to multiple top ranked show dogs, he is also known for his kind hearted effort organizing charity drive, sponsoring charitable events and re-homing the less fortunate and abandoned canines and felines. In conjunction with the 2005 Malaysian Kennel Association (MKA) 1st FCI International All Breed Championship Show on 5 March 2005, Mr. Gan was invited as the only Malaysian judge for the prestigious 1st MKA Show Dog Grooming Competition along with other invited foreign judges. He is also the Founder and the President of Malaysian Pet Groomers Association (MPGA), the first and only pet grooming association associated to Intergroom America and numerous American Dog Grooming Associations. On 3rd July 2006, Mr. Gan was cordially invited to a speech with the attendance of hundreds of professional pet groomers at a pet grooming ceremony in Bangkok organized by Thailand’s Starwood International Dog Grooming School. He has been in the pet grooming and styling industry since early 1990, a long period of career excellence spanning more than a decade. He is by far one of the most veterans of all modern show dog exhibitor, winner and groomer in Malaysia, hailing from his early years in London and Wisconsin. Of late, he had become established with works beyond the salons or academy and became a regular guest at both international and regional events on exclusive invitations. He makes regular trips to countries like USA, Thailand and Singapore on his tour to promote the art of pet styling and to share his success stories with aspiring pet groomers. He is also a recipient of American’s Groomer To Groomer Message Board exclusively from Ms Sally Liddick. His dedication to excellence, passion to visions and his generosity to share had not once but numerously garnered him recognition after recognition time and again for his tireless contribution in making pet grooming industry a promising and challenging profession. In his quest to the betterment of this profession, he insists in sharing of knowledge, encourage innovation and creativity, organize events with his own funds as a platform to reach out to people who seeks to understand more about his craft, creativity and professionalism. His success stories serves as the motivational guide for those who aspire to be successful, and for those who dares to dream.

If clothes maketh a man, it is the women who tailored his success. Ms Annie Goh & Ms Goh Poh Yen, the next in commands forming the pillars of House Of Groomers Academy. Both the Goh's forms a formidable team with unending success stories. The most outstanding pet groomer known in Malaysia, Ms Annie Goh, amongst her long list of winnings is the 1st and only Malaysian pet groomer who had won The Best Creative Groomer at the Malaysian Kennel Association 2005 grooming competition awarded by a foreign judge in conjunction with 1st Malaysian Kennel Association (MKA) FCI International All Breed Championship Show. On 3rd July 2006, Ms Annie Goh was presented yet another Gold Award for her excellent involvement in the international advancement on dog grooming. She was awarded a gold award from Thailand ministry approved pet grooming academy, Thailand’s Starwood International Dog Grooming School.
She was conferred the title World Master Groomer in 2006 after winning the Best Groomer In Show awarded by National Dog Groomers Association of America Master Groomer and Thailand Pet Grooming Ambassador on 16 September, 2006 at MPGA 1st International Dog Grooming Championship at Plaza Damas, Kuala Lumpur. With these awards, it further established her stance as the authority in the pet grooming and styling industry. A prominent figure as she is, she is the Creative Ambassador of Chris Christensen Pet Grooming products, appointed since year 2006 to date. Annie became a regular guest at both international and regional events on exclusive invitations. On 23 September 2006 she was invited to the world stage, Oster World Championship at Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas and the invitation came exclusively from the world renowned dog grooming book writer and organizer of Oster World Championship, Ms Shirlee Kalstone. She is again invited exclusively to Intergroom, New Jersey in April 2007 by Ms Christine DeFilippo, person behind this prestigious once a year international pet grooming event.
Annie is not only reckon to be at the peak of her career but also
gain the reputation of nothing less than excellent for her work and
creation. She is known to be extremely gentle and friendly to friends
and pets alike and her spirit of love for living creatures is
unsurpassable and she is known to be a sacred pet whisperer to all that
knows her. Though she demands nothing from her pets but insists nothing
less than 100% from her students. Her tenets to success are discipline,
strong desire to learn, unreservedly sharing of knowledge, being
creative and professional at all time. Her inspiration and creative work
has positively shape the new generation of professional pet groomers and
many more in years to come.
